All in the golden afternoon
Full leisurely we glide;

This is the opening poem from Carroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’, one of my favorites for over half a century. The line ‘Our wanderings to guide’ is deceptive – it carries a lot of meaning – extrapolate it to your life and you realize the importance of having someone to guide you in your wanderings – to make sure that you leave something positive when you leave.
